Well it's Wednesday, middle of the week is here and gone, my my where does the time go? I have been able to recover some of my poetry through the help of many friends and do diligence on craftily retracing places I might have stored copies other than my actual laptop. I will definitely be storing everything on back up files now... very valuable lesson has been learned there!
Here's one of my favorites about new love and beginning to trust again...
A Blossom
Softly tenderly a sprout began to grow
Yet it wasn't water it needed you know...
Starved for someone to listen to craving
Love, the little tulip hibernates no more -
No longer fear which blocked the sunlight...
She shines and basks in unparalleled glory.
The greatest, purest wholesome story
In days of old to be told, as we hug and hold
Each other close into the night each breath,
Each loving kiss and caress surpassed
The fear and pain, how quickly you've unmasked
The woman who hid deeply wounded and lost wails
Are rejuvenated with moments... purely white pale
Blankets of snowflakes, shields of butterflies
Dancing, fluttering, and truly as I doth now surmise
The deepness and conviction I saw within your eyes.
I can't help wonder and leap forward, hopeful a surprise,
A dream unfulfilled attained, my soul ignited passionately enflamed
So diligent we play the dance of love again, but not the same
Of lost failures, too old, unwanted to behold...
We've sparked the embers of our hearts, await our story told -
I have no doubt much joy that we will share
And my dear sweet, my love for thee is here.
Cherish me, honor me, want me an love me
I in turn open my arms and will for eternity
Be linked to your inner circle of blossoming love,
Like olden times we sing our love, hopefully doves
Sing a true and binding love song; two people
Not weak, nor wandering or empty, feeble
Steps of the past, rejuvenated power of love
To thee I send, I pray 'tis blessed above.
And so my amor, te amo, falling in love could be
A beautiful journey I shall explore with thee.
And this ends a very busy day! I got my new laptop and have been activating all the trial software, copying folders, revising resumes, applying to eons of places it seems and oh, yes, blogging with you!
