When I saw this knight with splashes of PINK armor and trimmings on his horse...
I just knew he belonged in a PINK SATURDAY POST!

I start each day Thanking God for what He gives me...
I had a talk with God and this poem was inspired from our conversation...
God's Talk With Me...
Tiptoe softly 'ere you awaken the long hidden
secrets
That delve into your unseeing past, ridden with
guilt.
Do not succumb to the twisted maze that lingers in
Your befuddled mind, memories gone by of
yesteryears.
Likewise, hasten ye unto the comforts of the
armored walls
Casting out the woes of your unhappiness, for I
will protect
You unto the end of time; shattered broken glass
remains
Of perilous shards, mirroring the frolics of your youth ...
Behold for in Me a new babe is born, a catharsis of
souls
Harken ye all unto My kingdom, for through Me and
by Me
Alone shall one enter eternal life, were but for a
knock upon
My door, all would enter in, yet many chose not a
life eternal.
Boldly I call on you to share My gospel, to spread
My word,
No longer cloistered within your heart and unafraid
to step out
Beyond the realm of your comfort zone, prophecy
attained
That through My disciples, My word be known and
made whole...
"For whosoever believeth in Me shall not
perish," and still hesitation
Breeds among those who follow me... cast out your
fears and become
My messengers, join arms in Psalms of Praise and
worship communal
Among the flocks yet brought home to Me, and I will
reward all.
Ever so gently, and softly I whisper these words
into your ear
So that you might share your heart willingly with
the unsaved
Will you come among my kingdom and be my fishers of
men
And cast the net in My name, followers of Christ,
eternally, Amen.

ReplyDeleteValerie, your poem has touched my heart today of all days, for I just received a letter from a sweet young friend telling me that her stay with me three years ago has turned her back to God and receiving her Lord Jesus. Oh, my heart is filled with joy and your poem has confirmed my joy.
ReplyDeleteYou expressed your 'conversation' with the Lord so beautifully. Keep writing and inspiring, for God knows the hearts you shall touch today, tomorrow, and all the years you dwell in this realm.
Have a delightfully pink Saturday,
Marianne
