I have begun collecting FOLGERS coffe plastic cans and PRINGLES chips cans for sugar cookies and homemade peanut btrittle for the men and women srving overseas and stateside. FOLGERS will be sponsoring us as well. I have yet to hear from PRINGLES. I like to recycle so that is why I chose these cans. They are perfect for the cookies and peanut brittle.

                                                                                                             Homemade Peanut Brittle

Yummy to the tummy sugar cookies stars and stripes!

Here is the scoop on this latest news: My son Joey and 2 of my nephews, Kenny and Andrew are serving overseas during this awful time of war. I want to do my part to help support their efforts only my are in PEACE! We have a goal of sending out 50 packages to either our loved ones and yours units or individual shipments. What will you do to help us GROW this event! Be a collector of cans and ship them to me. Be a local organizer or regional organizer. Get your local high schools and colleges, VFW involved, they all care. School students have to do a community learning service project before they graduate. What an awesome way to earn the credits! My local PennySaver is running the ads free to help spread the word. Churches too! I will soon be interviewed by the PennySaver and other sources to help promote this event.

Lance Corporal Joseph on the night e was deployed to Afghanistan.

Please pray for him and all our loved ones who serve so we can live free!
In addition to cookies and peanut brittle, they need books to read, journals, notebooks, pens, chewing gum, nothing soft and gooey because of temperature changes and shipping time.

We are offering a sponsorship  for each personal soldier you want pampered valued at $15 for a can of treats and a customized embroidered camoflauge bandana with the loved one's name embroidered on it. This is a keepsake from home that is worn inside of their helmets. Check back soon to see pictures of our package you can have sent for $15. 3. Hi Valrie... I still want to write to your son and his fellow friends in his unit!!! I talked to my dad about this and we can send a box of cookies a month. I don't bake...so they'll be store bought or I'll have a friend bake them...but we can commit to one box/coffee can per month!!! This is a lovely idea...and I'm glad Folgers will help sponsor you!!! Now it's time for Pringles to step up to the plate!!! I'm going back to my old job starting on Monday...and it'll last at least till December...after that I'm not sure...but I"m so grateful for this right now :) :) Have a lovely weekend. Love and hugs, Heather :)
