Sunday! A Day of Rest!!!

I spent today connecting with new friends I made during the OWOH event and here is a really fun blog to visit that I rediscovered. She has so many giveaways going on and a challenge to double her followers, so in the spirit of friendship I am posting the link to help her achieve her goal! Be sure to visit her soon, I know  you will love what she has on her blog! It is so nice to see the many different types of talent out there that God hs blessed us all with in our own unique ways!

Another blog I visited had this awesome birdsnest picture on it and I wanted to share it with you as a sign of  SPRING!It reminds me of the years I spent living in the Washington DC metro area and visiting the cherry blosssoms in early Spring at the National Mall. Dogwoods, cherry blossoms, magnolias and the beautiful forsythias, all the first noticeable signs of spring, and not to forget, I saw and heard my first robin yesterday! Yea!!!!! Spring is in the air!

Went out to lunch today with a new friend and had the most remarkable meal at this quaint little mansion in Upstate NY. It's called the Villa Isidoro, and oh my it will be one of my favorite places for sure. It's nestled between Cooperstown and Richfield Springs, a historic and very picturesque Inn and Ristorante. Excellent cuisine, nearby attractions include Baseball Hall of Fame, Glimmerglass Lake, Opera House, Herkimer Diamond Mines, Howe Caverns, Hyde Hall, and numerous other museums and colleges. If you are up this way, it's worth checking out! It is stated back in 1790, is a fine Tunnicliff Stone House and has quite a history attached to it. Here's the link http://www.villaisidoro.com/
Alot of old world charm and very good service, the food is made to order, has a brick oven and the pizza smelled delicious, so I know I will go back there for one of the famous pizzas they create. They have special events, weddings, and a small bed and breakfast so be sure to visit their website.

Well, time to kick back enjoy a pot of tea and unwind some more. Have a wonderful evening!
